Dear President Biden,

Thank you for taking environmental justice seriously. Marginalized communities in the U.S.— specifically communities of color— have been poisoned by pollution for decades, and it has gone unnoticed by virtually every administration— until you. Your plan is the first plan by a president to take environmental justice seriously— thank you. As American citizens, we call on you to 1) reduce pollution and toxic waste in marginalized communities (namely Black, Indigenous, Hispanic and Latinx communities) and 2) include these communities in the planning process of solving climate change and pollution.
