Dear Vice-President Timmermans,

We are a group of people who care deeply about climate change and protecting the giraffes.

Giraffe populations have plummeted by an alarming 40% over the last 30 years, in large part due to demand for giraffe products and hunting trophies in the U.S. and around the world. We call on you to support the proposal to list all giraffes on Appendix 2 of the Convention.

Climate change is accelerating at an alarming rate – and we need to do everything we can to stop it. We cannot afford to lose these precious creatures and all they do for our ecosystems.
