Dear Environmental Protection Agency,

We call on the EPA to propose tighter limits on air pollution, specifically soot and ozone pollution. Vulnerable communities across the country are suffering unthinkably, as air pollution is getting worse during an already devastating respiratory pandemic. Recent studies have shown that communities with even slightly elevated levels of soot air pollution have significantly higher death rates from COVID-19.
