The climate crisis can no longer be ignored.

We, the customers of Albertsons, call on Albertsons to ban hydrofluorocarbons from your refrigeration and cooling systems. HFCs can have 9,000 times more global warming power than CO2, and they are leaking into the atmosphere more and more every day. That needs to stop.

Your 2018 Sustainability Report promises to “to Make Every Day A Better Day for our people, customers, communities and planet.” Please live up to that promise by banning HFCs.

Make Albertsons an environmental leader– not only for the health of our planet, but also for global health, justice and the survival of future generations.
