The climate crisis can no longer be ignored.

We, the customers of Chipotle, call on Chipotle to ban hydrofluorocarbons from your refrigeration and cooling systems. HFCs can have 9,000 times more global warming power than CO2, and they are leaking into the atmosphere more and more every day. That needs to stop.

Your 2019 Sustainability Report says you “acknowledge the need for all businesses, including our own, to take responsibility and action.” This is an important step in the right direction.
Make Chipotle an environmental leader– not only for the health of our planet, but also for global health, justice and the survival of future generations.
