Climate change is the biggest threat humanity has ever faced, and we have to start acting like it.

The state of Virginia is one of six states in America yet to adopt science standards that require teaching our youth the truth about climate change: that it is primarily caused by human activity. As the Virginia Superintendent of Public Instruction it is your duty to properly educate the youth in your state about what is going on in our world, and by neglecting to educate them on climate change, you are failing to fulfill that duty.

We urge you to adopt the Next Generation Science Standards and educate the youth in your state on what is really happening in today’s world.
