Thank New Mexico Secretary of Education Ryan Stewart for adopting more rigorous standards for climate education
- August 12, 2020
Climate change is the biggest threat humanity has ever faced, and as a country, we have to start acting like it.
The state of New Mexico is one of 44 states in America to adopt science standards that require teaching our youth the truth about climate change: that it is primarily caused by human activity. As the New Mexico Secretary of Education, we thank you for adopting these standards and teaching our youth the truth about climate change.
By adopting these standards, you have acknowledged that climate change is a serious issue in today’s world. We encourage you to continue to use your position of power to help save our planet, by taking action in the fight against climate change whenever possible.
