Our Mission
You don’t need us to tell you that climate change is a serious problem. The world’s scientists have been telling us that for decades. And now, with an administration in Washington D.C. that largely denies the reality of climate change, you may be inclined to despair that we can fix this problem.
Our response is: Action is the antidote to despair! That’s why we created the Climate Action Now app and the Climate Action Now website – to make it easy and rewarding for you to take action that can make a difference.

Action Creators, Past & Present
Meet our team of Action Creators. This wonderful group of volunteers, led by Kaylee Beam and Deb Lloyd, have created the thousands of actions you’ll find in the app, and add new ones every day. They research the issues, provide resource links, and craft compelling messages for you to personalize send to political and business leaders. And they supplement the action carousel with flash quizzes, flash facts, and compelling videos and articles that will deepen our understanding of the climate crisis and what we can do about it.
